Nice game.. but ...
Hey wow, that was a very interesting game to play. I had a lot of fun and i bet you it evolved some hard work with the programing, good job. I really enjoyed the gameplay and level design. Solid graphics and the music was pretty good. Since i started programming i've always loved to find out the small glitches and lazy ways to win in almost every game. Althought this game was not that easy during the first couple of levels it then became obvious to me that you can use some "shortcuts" to beat the game.
****Dont read bellow if you havent played the game*****
On the grass levels it was very tricky because if you pressed down to put the spikes down and then pressed up, the spikes would come up again. I think its a great concept involving reflexes and cordination. Then, starting from the "Mexican dessert" level, one could EASILY pass it by pressing (all at the same time) "Down", "Left", "Space". Then the street level was equaly as easy because i could be HOLDING "space" "left" "right" and just worry about the rockets and the holes on the ground. All the other obsticles would be taken care off just by holding their assign key. I do admit the last level was a little more challenging because it went back to the previous concept of timing; pressing up and down at the right time. Still i was holding space, left and right and it took care of those obsticles.
I enjoyed playing the game a lot! I would love to see expansions to this game because it really kicks ass! The only thing i would change are those minor programming details i explained above. A player shouldnt be capable of holding "space" untill the right time because it would defeat the whole purpose of the game which is coordination ...pressing the keys at the right time. Hope you guys take my advice for future games and hope to see more stuff!
Good job
